TOM BOOTH WOODGER

BRANDEI ESTES

TOM PAGE
Director, Open Doors Gallery
DIRECTOR OF BLUECOAT PRESS
Tom is a designer, publisher & photographer based in London, UK.
Since 2022 he has also been running Bluecoat Press, which is a London based publisher that specialises in making photo-books. Tom believes that book design is both a collaboration and a response, it requires broad exploration between publisher and artist to arrive at a best final form for the work to exist in.
Bluecoat Press is striving to be a positive force in the publishing industry, creating beautiful books to represent the voices of many different artists. Reaching beyond the arts and photography into the lives of people who cannot normally access books is something Bluecoat is aiming for as they grow. Creating more accessibility to art is key to growing its uptake and involvement by future generations - a passion which Tom also brings into his personal design and publishing efforts.
Tom’s photographic work is borne out of intuition and instinct as well as an acute appreciation for the physical world. With imagery focusing on the potential of the unnoticed, and what we choose to ignore; either unconsciously or willingly. He explores this through series of images, which often focus on a single person, place or moment in time.

DIRECTOR OF OPEN DOORS GALLERY
Tom Page is an experienced gallerist and founder of Open Doors Gallery, specializing in contemporary photographic art. After several years in various roles at commercial galleries in London—from sales specialist to designer and digital manager—Tom identified a gap in supporting emerging photographic artists. What began as an Instagram account hosting regular takeovers showcasing new talent has evolved into a respected global platform. Today, Open Doors Gallery actively participates in both domestic and international art fairs, representing a growing roster of award-winning artists from across the spectrum of photographic art.
Tom is committed to disrupting the art world and positioning photography at the forefront of artistic discourse. As a former artist himself, he understands the critical importance of visibility and navigating the ups and downs of creative careers. Tom takes pride in collaborating with artists, curators, and publishers worldwide to bring their projects and exhibitions to life, with the gallery’s annual open call, OD Photo Prize, serving as a key aspect of its ongoing mission.

TESTIMONIALS
"Anstice offered me the opportunity to get involved with Photo Oxford while I was the President of the Oxford University Photography Society. This led to my first portfolio reviews and valuable exposure beyond art school. Whilst I am now based in London, working in photography and picture editing, I am grateful for my ongoing connection to this outstanding festival."
